Texas Laundry Service Co.'s commitment to customer service, innovative efforts to expand sales and overall outstanding sales performance earned it the 2008 Speed Queen Commercial Distributor of the Year Award. The award was announced at the 2009 Clean Show in New Orleans.

"Texas Laundry has been a loyal Speed Queen partner for years," said Bill Bittner, Speed Queen commercial national sales manager for North America. "Linda Mears and the whole staff at Texas Laundry have done a fantastic job of selling the value of Speed Queen products and the services provided with them. They are well deserving of this honor," Bittner said.

The Distributor of the Year Award is based on a variety of criteria, including exceeding prior year sales and providing excellent service and support. Texas Laundry saw unprecedented growth in year-over-year sales from 2007 to 2008. Bittner said this was a direct result of Mears' growth strategies and her staff's professionalism.

Serving the South Texas market, including Houston and San Antonio, for more than 25 years, Texas Laundry has offices in Pasadena, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and La Feria.
