The sales channel for Speed Queen Multi-Housing, the premier provider of coin laundry equipment for the multi-housing industry, was recently recognized by its parent company, Alliance Laundry System, for achieving record sales in 2010.

Last year, the brand exceeded 2009 sales figures by 12 percent. This was notably a significant accomplishment given that the economy continues to struggle.

"Speed Queen Multi-Housing's success was due to a collaborative effort by our team," said Dick Casey, Director of Speed Queen Multi-Housing. "Our dedicated sales leaders continue to provide unmatched industry service and there's no telling what they can accomplish in 2011."

The team was honored at Alliance's annual National Sales Meeting, Jan. 26-29, which was held at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton, Wis. Mike Schoeb, Alliance's chief executive officer and Jeff Brothers, senior vice president of sales - North America Sales presented the team with the following awards:

• Dick Casey - Director of Multi-Housing, N.A. - National Sales Manager of the Year
• Scott Honeycutt - Senior Regional Manager-West - Regional Sales Manager of the Year
• Kate Holmes - Government Contract Manager - Presidents Award of Excellence
• Dave Fairchild - Southern Regional Manager - Presidents Award of Excellence
• Mark Schram - Central Regional Manager - Presidents Award of Excellence
• Mike Mitchell - Senior Regional Manager - Special Recognition Award
