BUILT SMARTER TO PERFORM BETTER THAN EVER.
When the U.S. Department of Energy's 2018 top load washer standards raised the bar for energy- and water-efficiency, we didn't see an obstacle; we saw an opportunity. We challenged ourselves to not just meet the new standards, but exceed them—all while improving our already legendary wash quality.

DEFINING THE PERFECT WASH
Our new top load washer exceeds standards with commercial-grade quality, bringing the latest advances in home laundry straight to your laundry room.
AUTO FILL: DESIGNED NOT JUST TO DO LAUNDRY, BUT TO KNOW LAUNDRY.
Each load of laundry is unique: different fabrics, different soil levels and different sizes all mean different wash settings. Until now, it was your job to memorize them. Not anymore. Our unique Auto Fill feature guarantees that every load uses the right amount of water for an effective wash. Engineered with patent-pending sensing technology, Speed Queen® top load washers account for fabric type, absorbency—even the sizes of items being washed—to determine optimal water levels for better wash results.
REINVENTING THE AGITATOR
In the 2018 top load washer, even the agitator serves a new purpose: a power source to push water through laundry. This revolutionary redesign means cleaner clothes, fewer tangled messes, and minimized damage to delicate fabrics—in other words, all the advantages of a front load washer in a commercial-grade, top load design.
PROTECTING YOUR CLOTHES
Commercial laundry technology gets quality results. Our new 2018 top load washer proves that—not only in a superior wash, but by the way clothing itself is treated. Fabrics sustain less wear and tear. In fact, our results show a nearly 20% reduction in damage to fabrics compared to previous Speed Queen models. When you're already spending $1,700 on clothes per year*, that's a difference that counts.
*Average household spend on clothing per year, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
*Statistics derived from in-house tests, using standardized Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) protocols. Tests are performed on the heavy-duty cycle.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR WASH
Speed Queen top load washers have the most customizable controls on the market, giving you the flexibility to do your laundry your way.
This cycle is the best choice for sturdy fabrics, heavily soiled fabrics, and stains. Combine it with a higher soil level for more stain removal.
Normal Eco Cycle
Save energy with this cycle designed for everyday, lightly soiled garments. It uses less water—and less hot water.
Choose your own water temperature. On non-ECO cycles, the water temperature is determined by the temperature of the incoming water supply.
Choose your own water level—or set it to Auto Fill for the perfect amount of water for your fabric and load size.
Our commercial laundry experience tells us that sorting the load by type and then by soil level is the optimal way to wash. The TR7 provides the flexibility to add or subtract agitation time depending on each load’s soil level.
Choose a wash cycle designed for specific fabrics types, save energy, or increase your wash action for the ultimate control over your laundry.
