The Speed Queen team makes a visit to the Good Housekeeping HQ
What happens when two iconic brands, with a combined history spanning over 200 years, get together in New York?
They talk about laundry and cleaning, of course.
Members of the Speed Queen marketing team recently visited Hearst Tower in New York, headquarters of Good Housekeeping magazine and home to the Good Housekeeping Institute. The team received a VIP tour of the Institute to see how Good Housekeeping lab technicians test everything from cleaning products, vacuums, kitchen appliances, and textiles to everything in between.
Among the highlights of the building are its multiple kitchens (for testing products, crafting and testing new recipes, and filming cooking shorts for the Delish channel) and special event dining space and meeting room with a display of Founder William Randolph Hearst’s rolling pin collection. Our team also learned a bit about the history of Hearst Tower, which consists of two sections—the first six floors dating back to 1928, and the addition (40 stories) completed in 2006.
In short, it was time well spent. We would love to say thank you to the Good Housekeeping team and especially Jodhaira Rodriguez, home care and cleaning lab reviews analyst.
